Frequently Asked Questions About Waste Compaction Near Denver Airport
We offer flexible scheduling that matches your waste output, available in daily, weekly, biweekly, or custom routes. Many of our airport-area clients prefer routed service to keep waste levels under control without needing to request last-minute hauls. We’ll help you determine the ideal frequency based on:
- Your average weekly waste volume
- Dumpster size and number of containers
- Business type and industry (e.g., freight vs. hospitality)
- Peak vs. off-peak seasonality
Every time we smash your waste, we eliminate a dumpster haul.; that’s one less fuel-burning trip to the landfill. By increasing dumpster use-time and extending the time between hauls:
- You lower your CO₂ and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions
- You reduce Scope 3 emissions tied to third-party waste providers
- You contribute to DIA’s broader sustainability goals without lifting a finger
Limited storage or loading dock space means every square foot matters. Smash My Trash helps by reducing the number of dumpster hauls, which clears space faster and keeps dock operations running smoothly. With fewer pickups clogging your schedule:
- Waste stays onsite longer without overflow
- Fewer interruptions from hauler arrivals
- Better use of loading and staging zones
Yes. We regularly partner with facility and janitorial teams contracted by airports, logistics parks, and large commercial complexes. As long as the roll-off dumpster is scheduled and placed in an accessible location, we’ll handle the smash on your behalf and provide a detailed report so the full team stays informed.
No problem. Our flexible scheduling allows you to ramp up or scale back service as needed. Seasonal surges, one-time events, or construction projects are a great fit for mobile compaction. You can choose:
- Routed service for consistent smashes
- Project-based compaction for short-term boosts
- Month-to-month service with no long-term commitments
The Powerhouse Team Behind the Smash
Karen Seeley
Karen grew up in Greenville, SC, and graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Materials Engineering. After a brief stint in ceramics R&D, she transitioned to Quality-related positions in several different industries. However, her primary (and most important) role was raising her two sons. Karen and Rob have visited all 50 states and enjoy road trips as well as other types of travel. Karen also takes pleasure in pickleball, spending time outdoors in Colorado’s beautiful climate, reading, baking, and playing games or watching movies with her family.
Robert Seeley
Rob grew up in Virginia and graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Computer Engineering; he earned his M.B.A. from Colorado State in 2017. Rob’s early work experience crosses many verticals, but his most interesting jobs have been as a baker, business owner, and technical team lead. He and Karen moved from the East Coast to Colorado in 1999 and have raised their two sons here. Rob enjoys traveling in the US and abroad, watching and playing many sports, grilling and smoking, and spending time with his family. He is always looking for his next great memory.
Dan Whitehead
Dan joined Smash My Trash as the Denver NE Territory Manager in February ’21 and has recently transitioned to GM. He hails from the Poconos of Pennsylvania but moved here a few years ago to raise his son in Colorado. At 49, Dan enjoys all the great opportunities our great state has to offer. He engages in various activities on his own and with his son: baseball, soccer, bike riding, snowboarding, and playing with their dog. Dan feels that Smash My Trash offers him a great opportunity to be part of the community in a positive, helpful way that is satisfying at the end of the day.
Jeff McClure
Jeff joined the Smash My Trash team in January ’22. He and his wife Becky moved to Colorado to find expertise with Becky’s disability and to help her aging parents. Jeff comes from a successful 30-year career in industrial design. He acquired his CDL to assist in the transport of large-scale event installations. Now, when he’s not driving the Smash truck, Jeff uses many of those skills in a far different manner, including writing a novel, creating art in paint and recycled/up-cycled material, working in other creative media, and playing with his “two-thirds of a dog” Achilles (he is a spoiled tripod).
