This business is also an engine for job creation, with two full-time positions hired initially with the potential for several more as the company grows.

Jake’s entrepreneurial journey is just getting started. Beyond launching this Smash My Trash franchise in June 2022, he helped start two other side businesses: short-term rentals and fractional CFO consulting. He’s an experienced Finance leader of businesses ranging from global conglomerates to scrappy startups. Jake holds an MBA from Boston University and a business undergrad degree from Indiana University. His free time is spent with his wife and two kids.
Linda is a seasoned, professional salesperson by training. Linda transitioned to Smash My Trash after spending several years in the insurance business. She is an excellent communicator with a tremendous focus on the customer and brings a personal touch to every interaction. She understands our customers’ needs and works together with them to develop programs that deliver the most bang for their buck. We’re lucky to have her!
