Zach Hargis

Owner

Prior to aquiring Smash My Trash Houston, Zach worked in private equity and investment banking in New York and San Francisco. Through his professional experiences and from his father’s example as a small business founder-owner-operator, Zach developed a passion for businesses built with strong customer relationships, diversity, and accountability. Zach graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Finance and grew up in the Bay Area, CA.

Adam Wilver

Owner

Prior to aquiring Smash My Trash Houston, Adam worked in private equity and investment banking, where he developed skills across operations, leadership, and problem-solving. While in private equity, he frequently served in operational leadership roles at portfolio companies to spearhead value creation initiatives. Immediately prior to SMT, Adam completed his MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Business, concentrating on entrepreneurship and management. His work experience and time at MIT transformed into a passion for using business as an avenue to serve the community, create good jobs, and form strong relationships. He grew up in Metrowest Boston and currently lives in Boxford, MA, with his wife, Annie.

Hanh Tran

Operations Manager

As a former police officer, middle school teacher and school principal, I have learned to practice and hone the age-old adage of seek to understand before being understood. Good things come from listening to others’ needs and it’s no different with our Smash customers. We are here to help businesses with their bottom line and to support them in any way we can.

Tim Gaylardo

People & Success Manager

Tim has worked in sales, account management and new business development where he discovered building positive relationships is his passion, and honesty, accountability, and integrity are his strengths. Tim is a family-oriented person who values the impact he can have on all those he encounters in his personal and professional life. His work experience has crossed a variety of industries over 20 years and he has ultimately come down to the conclusion that he values meeting new people face-to-face and having the ability to serve. Tim enjoys opportunities to volunteer his time within his community, learning about health & fitness, travel, beach visits and especially spending time with family. He grew up in the North Shore area of MA and currently resides in Nashua, NH.

Lance Velasquez

Fleet Manager

I’ve been Smashing for 6 years and maintaining our fleet for over 3 years. I also train new drivers and impart on them my extensive knowledge of quality Smashing, customer service, and truck care. This is all to ensure that everyone strives for excellence in all arenas. I look forward to coming to work everyday because of the amazing Smash team we have here in Houston. I work with some of the brightest, friendliest, and most hard-working people that push the needle everyday to provide great quality service to our customers.

Juliet Holocher

Sales Support

As a former manager of a successful, non-profit youth soccer club for 20 years, I understand the value of providing programs that encourages positive youth development while benefiting the overall community. With Smash My Trash, my goal is to support the business community by providing savings and environmental solutions all across the Greater Houston area.

LRod James

Lead Smash Truck Operator

LRod is one of the longest tenured Smashers in the organization with 7 years of experience. He is from Atlanta GA and currently resides in Houston TX. He is a father of 4 – one son and one daughter are currently serving. His hobbies include fishing, hunting, and riding his motorcycle.

We’re a tight group of parents, spouses, coaches, military vets, fishermen, hunters, pitmasters, and lastly, Smashers. We collectively have 18+ years of Smash experience and have performed tens of thousands of Smashes. Safety and quality Smashing is our main focus.
