Ohio has a proud history of innovation and technology. The Wright Brothers, Charles Kettering, Soichiro Honda, and many others created new industries here.

As I looked for a business opportunity, I wanted something that would, in a small way, build on that history.

Smash My Trash is revolutionizing the waste management industry. We reduce carbon emissions in waste hauling by 65% and decrease the number of trucks on the road all while saving our customers money. Its a win-win for our customers, the environment, and Smash My Trash.

Andrew White

Owner

After growing up in Dayton, OH and completing college at Rose-Hulman in Terre Haute, IN, Andrew served for 4 years on active duty at Fort Sill, OK. He then returned to Columbus with his wife, Gail, to start a family. Andrew has spent his career developing disruptive technologies in the IT and telecom industries. In his free time, Andrew enjoys board games, disc golf, and supporting the Worthington Robotics Boosters.

Dana Beane

Chief Financial Officer

Dana Beane joined Smash My Trash – Midwest Ohio as Chief Financial Officer in 2021 and is responsible for the financial reporting and risk management of the company. She also enjoys working with customers and oversees the settlement of invoices and management of contracts. Dana came to Midwest Ohio after a successful career in the utility industry and is excited to be back in her hometown helping customers lower the environmental impact of waste hauling. Outside of the office, Dana enjoys spending time with friends and family, volunteering in the community, and visiting local, state, and national parks.

Cody Dodds

General Manager

Cody Dodds joined the Smash My Trash – Midwest Ohio team as General Manager in September of 2020. He is responsible for daily operations, sales leadership, and customer relationships. Cody has a background in Technology Sales and Nursing. He graduated from Ohio University in 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and enjoys listening to music, going to concerts, making great pizza and ice cream, playing board games with friends, and spending time with family.

Leonard Parker

Driver

Leonard Parker joined the team as a driver/operator in January of 2021. He has an extensive background in trucking and machine operations. With 24 years of experience behind him he has been a great asset to our team. Leonard enjoys watching ufc fights, hanging out with his pug, and spending time with his family.
