Smash My Trash is uniquely positioned to help businesses save money and benefit the environment. After 20 years in the corporate world, franchise owner Albie Whitaker took the entrepreneurial leap. The franchise serves chemical, petrochemical, steel, manufacturing, logistics and the construction industries to name a few.

The Gulf Coast between Pensacola, Florida and Mobile, Alabama is a beautiful stretch of coastline with something to offer everyone. The region is home to white-sand beaches, crystal-clear water, delicious seafood, and historical attractions. Some of the most popular destinations in the area include Pensacola Beach, Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Fort Morgan, and Mobile. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing beach vacation, a family-friendly getaway, or a cultural adventure, you’ll find it on the Gulf Coast between Pensacola and Mobile.

The economy of the region is largely based on tourism, agriculture, and manufacturing. Tourism is a major driver of the economy, with millions of visitors coming to the area each year to enjoy the beaches, seafood, and historical attractions. Agriculture is also an important industry, with the region producing a variety of crops, including cotton, soybeans, and peanuts. Albie Whitaker

Owner

Prior to owning Smash My Trash Mobile and Pensacola, Albie spent almost 20 years advising entrepreneurial families while working at investment firms (including Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley). He holds a BBA from the University of Georgia and an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. He serves as a Trustee of the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and as an Advisory Board member of the Shepherd Center. His most important role is as husband to Kristy and father Grey and Birch.

Kristy Whitaker

Owner

Kristy is a Territory Manager and Consultant with a large Medical Device manufacturer. Spanning more than 15 years, Kristy’s career has been marked with sustained success having achieved President’s club multiple times and helping surgeons achieve better patient outcomes. She is native of Daphne, AL and graduated with a BS from the University of South Alabama. She and Albie have been married for 8 years and has been declared (by Albie and her kids), “the best mom ever!”
