As entrepreneurs who have grown up in our small city, my wife and I saw an opportunity to bring an unknown operation to our area that would disrupt the current archaic waste management market, help the environment through carbon reduction and bring significant savings to local businesses.

We operate out of our home, Plant City, the winter strawberry capital of the world. The city is known for agricultural business and food production facilities coupled with an old-school mentality of helping and supporting those you live and work with. We also operate in our neighboring Polk County, which is one of the fastest-growing commercial areas in the country.

Tim Hunt

Owner

Tim grew up in the finger lakes area of Upstate NY in Skaneateles. After playing Lacrosse and attending the Rochester Institute of Technology, he ended up in New Tork curt where he and Plant City, FL native Lindsay (Roberts) would meet. Both Tim and Lindsay worked for the worlds largest custom clothing Company, Tom James Co. After 3 children (Cambell, Dylan and Hayes) and over a decade in NYC Tim and Lindsay decided to set permanent roots in Plant City. Having always been entrepreneurial and working off 100% commission for 16 years Tim decided to venture out on his own and. The industry disruptive and environmental friendly Smash My Trash was a perfect match for both Tim and Lindsays skill set.

David Price

Business Operations Manager

David is English and moved to the US after 22 years of military service in the British Royal Air Force. He moved to Plant City with his wife Karen and their children, Aden, Rose, and Jory. Holding a bachelor’s in Human Resources and Business Management, he brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our business.

CJ Guinyard

Smash Truck Operator

CJ brings a wealth of experience and professionalism to the team as an experienced driver, who has been working heavy-duty vehicles since graduating from Gaither High School, Tampa where he excelled as a wide receiver for the school football team. CJ is a devoted family man who is married to Alexandra and has two beautiful girls, Ce’Liyah and Alyia.
