ABOUT US

My extensive experience in the construction industry made the need for Smash My Trash hugely apparent. My customers would request that we throw items in the dumpsters as orderly as possible to maximize the space in the dumpster. It was really the only way to help bring down that cost and wasn’t an expense that could be avoided.

By bringing Smash My Trash to my community, I not only have the ability to help my customers in the construction industry, but it also allows us to diversify to other industries that have similar problems when it comes to waste issues.

It was too great of a win/win opportunity to pass up.

She is a proud mother of 2 girls and is also an accomplished business owner. She also currently is the owner of a Homeowners Association Management Company. She Holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Michael Munnerlyn

Along with opening Smash My Trash of Acadiana he is the owner of a construction company for the past 20 years specializing in Insulation and Drywall. He is an active member of the Acadian Home Builders Association and serves on the Executive Committee. He lives his life with one phrase in mind “I don’t need it to be easy, I need it to be worth it”.

Aaron Knight

Managing Partner

Aaron spent 8 years in the Navy working on F-18’s and non destructive testing. After leaving the Navy, he started a career in non destructive testing in the oil & gas industry where he worked as a field technician, operations manager, and eventually moving to quality control/ quality assurance & radiation safety. He and his wife Kim are parents to two beautiful children. He is a member of both the Home Builders Association of SWLA and the Acadian Home Builders Association.
